While a twister rages outside the storm cellar, Pete the farm hand, keeps the family (hiding in the storm cellar) calm and entertained with tales of his dog from long ago named Tornado.

When Pete was a little boy, a tornado ripped through his town and dropped a dog house into his yard.  Upon closer inspection, Pete’s father discovers a dog cowering inside!  Of course, you name a dog like this Tornado.  And, of course,  that dog will change your life

Here’s a fun dog story by a master story teller you won’t want to miss!

Early Grade Reading Level, 64 pages, published 1996.
